Enterprise level chief learning architect to transform learning in Singapore and the region.
Kydon’s clients include the Ministry of Defence, the Singapore Sports Council, the Workforce Development Agency, at-Sunrice Global Chef Academy and NEC, to name a few. David previously served as the Head of Training and Learning Systems in the Singapore Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence (MINDEF).
One of his most notable contributions in his 20 years in MINDEF is the landmark LEARNet project which revolutionalises the way knowledge acquisition and distribution takes place in the organisation. As the architect and operations director of LEARNet, David conceptualised the project, secured funding and spearheaded the implementation of the entire system.
The success of LEARNet enabled MINDEF to win the coveted Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) award in 2011. From 2012 to early-2013, David also served as the Project Director for the Workforce Development Agency’s Adult Learning in the Digital Age (ALDA) initiative to explore how Singapore’s workforce can benefit from tech-enabled learning capabilities.
